Police were told the intruder fired two shots before fleeing on foot.

The victim's pregnant wife, young daughter and mother-in-law were inside the home at the time of the incident.

It is believed the same man attended the property the previous day and turned off the power, again at about 9.20pm.

Police believe the man is not known to the occupants of the house.

Nobody was physically injured during the incidents.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of a man they believed can assist their inquiries.

The man is described as having a medium build and was wearing a hi-vis jacket, glasses and a hat.

Anyone who witnessed either incident, has dashcam or CCTV footage, or information, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online.
