Police release CCTV vision after spate of terrifying armed robberies

Police have released CCTV vision of a man they believe can help with their inquires, after two armed robberies on Sydney streets.

Police allege a man armed with a knife threatened three people, demanding their belongings, at an intersection in the inner-city suburb of Marrickville about 11pm on Monday, July 18, 2022.

Days later, at the same location, a man allegedly armed with a knife threatened another man before fleeing the scene with his personal belongings.

Police believe the man pictured is able to assist their investigation.

In the wake of the robberies, detectives released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist in the investigation.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his early 20s, between 175cm – 180cm tall, of slim build and wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants and white shoes.

No injuries were reported in either of the robberies.
