Pregnant driver's waters break during Western Sydney crash

A pregnant woman has been rushed to hospital after crashing her car into a house in Sydney's west overnight.

Emergency services were called to an address in Edensor Park just before 11.30pm after reports a car had left the road and hit the front of a house.

The 29-year-old driver, who is 35 weeks pregnant, received only minor injuries, but paramedics rushed her to hospital when they discovered her waters had broken during the crash.

She gave birth at Liverpool Hospital and she and the baby are doing well.

A passenger who was also in the car was checked at the scene but was not injured.

The house was vacant at the time.
